CLEVELAND and AKRON -- August 26, 2004 -- George P. Petrenko, Principal of Renaissance Partners, LLC, has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Ohio Ballet, Northeast Ohio's only professional resident ballet company. Founded in 1968, the Ohio Ballet is in residence at The University of Akron and is a resident company of Playhouse Square Center, Cleveland. George Petrenko is a seasoned financial and operations executive with over 20 years of experience providing interim management and leading complex debt workouts, business restructurings, bankruptcy reorganizations and successful acquisitions and divestitures for public and private companies. Recently, Mr. Petrenko has led the strategic planning, negotiations, coordination of due diligence and bid structure on behalf of private equity clients in the Bankruptcy Court 363 sales of numerous companies in the manufacturing and metals industries.
