Jason Lhota holds the position of Director of Operations at Renaissance's business services firm in Pittsburgh, PA. He leads Renaissance's Enterprise Enhancement practice supporting companies with revenues below $500MM and has expertise in operations management while specializing in turnaround situations. Jay also oversees Renaissance's account management and customer success strategies across all industry sectors, functional areas, and geographies.
Jay was born and raised in Pittsburgh and graduated from The Citadel in Charleston, South Carolina. He played Football and Rugby while at The Citadel where he played on nationally ranked teams in both sports.
Jay joined USC Consulting Group, LLC, where he advised many Fortune 1000 companies. He was later promoted to a leadership position where he was responsible for growing USC's various building products clientele in the operations management channel, including Masco Corporation's holdings and the company's Private Equity practice. He earned several awards and led the firm on multiple occasions in various categories during his fourteen-year tenure at the company.
Following his time at USC Consulting Group, Jay, along with his partners started Operations Strategy Partners a consulting firm tasked primarily with improving Private Equity backed companies with Supply Chain excellence and lending assistance to C-Level Positions at their holdings. He acted or was appointed to PE holdings in various positions such as Vice President of Operations, Site Director and Chief Operating Officer. Jay left OSP to join Intertech, a national leader in Security Integration and led them to profitability as COO.
Jay has been an advisor to Renaissance's investment banking practice for a decade, working with RP's industrial partners. With over a half-billion dollars in traceable benefits for his clients, he will continue to provide value added services for RP's clients and the firm's future. He holds a CPIM from APICS, is certified a Six-Sigma Green Belt from Juran and is Lean Bronze certified from SME.
Actively involved with his alma mater, he has led The Greater Pittsburgh Citadel Alumni Club to two Club of the Year awards while establishing scholarships for western Pennsylvanians interested in exploring the citizen-soldier track. Jay and his wife have two children and two dogs, he coaches his daughter's youth soccer teams and has become a master on his Big Green Egg. The Lhota's reside in the Greater Pittsburgh area.
